Maintenance

SPEL® SQID’s are easy and safe to clean, with provision to both chambers through manholes conveniently placed for vacuum - loading truck access. Cleaning is performing by personnel from outside the tank. NO ENTERING OF THE TANK IS REQUIRED, satisfying O.H. & S requirements.

SPEL CLASS 1

SPEL PURACEPTOR CLASS 1 & SPEL STORMCEPTOR CLASS 1 and CLASS 2 should be checked at six month and twelve month intervals to determine the depth of retained pollutants and silt in both chambers.

If a SPEL Automatic Alarm/Monitoring System has been installed (standard item on all Puraceptors) it will automatically warn when it needs emptying of light liquids. The diagram below illustrates the simplicity of the task.
